Q: Do you have surveyors?
A: Yes, LT Earth Movers has in house surveyors and works with a team of experienced engineers.
Q: Do the machines get hired with an operator?
A: Yes, all our machines are hired out with qualified, competent operators, whose fee is covered in the hourly plant hire rate.
Q: Do you hire machines with diesel?
A: All machines are hired on a dry rate; the client needs to fill the machines. We will send the machine full of fuel to site, it needs to be filled by the client and when it leaves site you need to refuel the machine with a full tank.
Q: How do machines get to site?
A: We have our own low bed which will transport the machine to and from your site. This is charged at a rate per kilometer.
Q: Are your operators trained?
A: Yes, all our operators are trained and have operator training certificates.
Q: Are your operators medically fit to operate the machines?
A: Yes, our operators all undergo a full medical and have certificates.
Q: Are you BEE complaint?
A: Yes, we are BEE complaint we have a level 6 grading.
Q: Are you graded with the CIDB?
A: Yes, we have a level 5 grading.
Q: Are you members of the CPHA (Contractors Plant Hire Association)

Q: How much fuel do your machines use per hour?
A: Please take a look on our fleet pages, the information is listed under each machine.
Q: Are rates quoted including or excluding VAT?
A: All rates quoted exclude 14% VAT.
